why honor flight southland

Nashville On The Coast is built on a foundation of music and the support of the artists that create that music.  It was important to our founders that Nashville on the Coast, be more and to honor those that came before us that offers our singer songwriters the privilege to create.    

Nashville on the Coast has partnered with Honor Flight Southland as it's designated philanthropy.  Honor Flight Southland is an all volunteer 501 (c)3  46-451975 that sends veterans to Washington DC and their memorials.  Our founder, Daren DeLeon has worked with Honor Flights for over a decade, so while the partnership was an easy tie in, it was also an important one.  It allows attendees of the event the opportunity to show our nation’s veterans the appreciation and honor they deserve

 Participation in an Honor Flight trip gives veterans the opportunity to share this momentous occasion with other comrades, to remember friends and comrades lost, and share their stories and experiences with other veterans. All honored veterans travel at no cost to the veteran.
